My name is Karianne Wilkins and I’m a certified Speech-Language Pathologist who has worked in public schools and rehabilitation/skilled nursing facilities for 8 years.  My primary interest has always been in early childhood education and language development, which has deepened with the birth of my two daughters.  I have used sign language with them since birth and have incorporated a multisensory approach to teaching them.  I want to pass along the benefits of using sign language with hearing children and also my knowledge about early language development to provide you with creative ideas and resources to use with your own child.

EarlytoLearn.com is dedicated to being a resource for parents, grandparents, caregivers, educators, speech therapists, and homeschoolers who are interested in using sign language and a multisensory approach to learning with children.  It is also a place to share your ideas and experiences so we may all learn from each other.
